Fly Me to the Moon
Romantic comedy set during the Apollo 11 mission
I joined Fly Me to the Moon, starring Scarlett Johansson, as supervising art director two weeks into filming, stepping into triage mode to manage and complete a series of complex stage builds in Atlanta.
With limited time, I quickly aligned with production designer David Bachelor Wilson and set decorator Laura Wallgren to troubleshoot outstanding issues and finish remaining sets. I also led the art department’s trip to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, collaborating with NASA officials and location teams to integrate real-world aerospace environments into the film’s visual narrative. The role demanded quick adaptation, strong communication, and fast, creative decision-making under pressure.
