Blind Sight
Tense indie drama set in a hurricane shelter, exploring trauma, memory, and perception
Set in a hurricane shelter during a looming storm, Blind Sight follows a woman who must confront the very people—and the past—she’s been avoiding. As tensions rise and conflicting memories surface, the film explores how fear distorts perception and how difficult it can be to define “truth” when multiple perspectives collide. Through its layered narrative and intimate setting, the story challenges viewers to reflect on how they respond to uncertainty, and how their understanding of events may shift depending on the lens through which they view them.
As production designer, I was responsible for shaping the confined shelter space as a dynamic psychological landscape—transforming it from a place of safety into a pressure cooker of emotion, memory, and confrontation. Every design choice, from the color palette to the textures and spatial divisions, was made to enhance the story’s evolving tension and mirror the characters’ shifting states of mind.
